Clays for Classrooms Logo with Tagline "Giving Every Student a Shot at Success!"

Our inaugural Clays for Classroom sporting clays event was a huge success!  Held at the Golotko Ranch outside of Ft. Meade, 27 teams competed in this first annual night shoot.  We had great raffle items (thanks to all that donated) and chili cooked and served by Polk County Fire and Rescue.  Shooters were invited to bring friends and family to watch them compete and children were kept busy by outdoor games away from the range.

Host Pete Golotko presented the Polk Education Foundation with a $10,000 check from CPS Cares and that, in addition to sponsorships and team entries helped us raise a net total of almost $35,000 to help support classroom grants and our Free Teacher Market!

Congratulations to the two teams that tied for First Place, Team Farnworth and Citizens Bank and Trust

Second Place went to Clifton Larson Allen and

Third Place to Bartow Ford
Kenny Reinhold was the proud winner of the shotgun, after being closest to the center of the eye in the eye of the worm, who was in the apple representing education.
