Polk County Public Schools is proud to welcome our newest principals and administrators for 2020-21!

 

– John Campbell, an assistant principal at Jere L. Stambaugh Middle, previously served as a dean at Ridge Community High.

– Albert Cummings III, an assistant principal at Rosabelle W. Blake Academy, previously served as a testing coordinator for the school.

– Melodie Davis, an assistant principal at Frostproof Middle-Senior, previously served as an assistant principal II at the school.

– Matthew Diaz, an assistant principal at Lake Gibson High, previously an assistant principal II at the school.

– Cynthia Downing, principal of Summerlin Academy, previously served as the school’s acting principal.

– Britt Gross, principal of Lake Alfred Polytech Academy, previously served as an assistant principal at the school.

– Bradley Hardesty, principal of Eagle Lake Elementary, previously served as an assistant principal at the school.

– Robin Hewitt, principal of Bethune Academy, previously served as principal of James Elementary in Hillsborough County.

– Ashley Highley, an assistant principal at Davenport Elementary, previously served as a district-based coach.

– Lacey Jurnigan, an assistant principal at Spessard L. Holland Elementary, previously served as a reading coach with Hillsborough County Public Schools.

– Bernadette Lane, an assistant principal at Lakeland Highlands Middle, previously served as a curriculum specialist.

– Lindsey Leskis, an assistant principal at Sikes Elementary, previously served as a reading coach at Carlton Palmore Elementary.

– Kevin LeVine, principal of Harrison School for the Arts, previously served as the school’s acting principal.

– Heather Linn, an assistant principal at Chain of Lakes Elementary, previously served as a regional-based math coach.

– Gale Macleod, principal of Medulla Elementary, previously served as an assistant principal at the school.

– Catherine Sawyer, director of PCPS’ School Technology Services, previously served as the senior manager of School Technology Services.

– Timothy Sherman, an assistant principal at Medulla Elementary, previously served as teacher, interventionist at R. Bruce Wagner Elementary.

– Tyrone Wilder, an assistant principal at Auburndale High, previously served as an assistant principal II at the school.

– Leon Williams II, principal of Socrum Elementary, previously served as an assistant principal at Jewett Middle Academy.

– Rashawn Williams, an assistant principal at Kathleen Elementary, previously served as a teacher resource specialist trainer (TRST), full-release mentor.
