Seven students from Polk County Public Schools are among the semifinalists for this year’s National Merit Scholarship Program.
Approximately 16,000 “academically talented” high school seniors have been named semifinalists this year. They have an opportunity to complete for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $30 million that will be offered in the spring.
The scholarship program honors “individual students who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies.” Without further ado, congratulations to the following semifinalists from PCPS:
