The Polk County School Board will hold two work sessions on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The first work session will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a special work session scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the school district’s superintendent search.
Both work sessions will take place at the Jim Miles Professional Development Center, 4270 Wallace Road in Lakeland.
The work sessions will be structured to comply with CDC guidance, including social distancing and limiting the capacity of rooms. Members of the public wishing to attend in person will be asked to wear face masks or coverings.
The work sessions will be broadcast live via the district’s YouTube channel. The work sessions will also be broadcast live on the following channels: Comcast channel 7, Frontier channel 45, Spectrum channel 642.
