This is an important update about our learning options for the 2020-21 school year.

We previously announced that next week (Oct. 12-16) would be another opportunity for families to choose either Campus Learning (taking classes on campus) or Campus eSchool (taking classes online through your school).

Polk County Public Schools will still offer families the chance to switch to face-to-face Campus Learning if they wish. Please contact your school’s administration next week to accommodate a switch to face-to-face instruction. Students who choose this option can physically return to campus beginning Wednesday, Oct. 28.

To help prevent interruptions in lessons, teachers of eSchool students will be providing assignments for the Monday and Tuesday before students return to campus on Oct. 28.

Switching enrollment this far into the school year presents many challenges. We must stabilize our staffing levels, establish academic consistency and minimize disruptions to school operations. As a result, we will not be enrolling more students into our eSchool program at this time.

Thank you for your understanding.
