PCPS Distributing Meals for Spring Break; Registration Deadline is March 9

Because of spring break, PCPS will not have our regular meal pickup service on Wednesday, March 24. But we’ve still got you covered!

In an effort to keep students fed during the break, all PCPS high schools will be distributing packages of food on Wednesday, March 17, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Advance registration is required to receive the food, and you must sign up by March 9 at this link:

The meals are available to all children 18 and under, including all public, private, charter and home school students in Polk County.

Please note:

– Registration is required for planning purposes and does not guarantee you will receive meals. The packages will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until our supplies are depleted.

– All families who wish to obtain the meal packages for spring break must register in advance at the link above, even if you have previously registered for pickup meals for online students.

– Children do not have to be present to receive meals, as long as you can provide some form of ID (please see the registration page for examples).

– PCPS high schools will only be providing meals for pick up from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on March 17. Our other food distribution sites will be operating as normal.
