The next meeting of the ESE Advisory Council will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Polk County Public Schools Employee Health Clinic, 3215 Winter Lake Road, Lakeland.
Parents whose children participate in Exceptional Student Education programs are invited to attend and learn more about the ESE Advisory Council. The group explores ways to improve services for ESE students and works with district staff on developing strategies to make these improvements possible.
There are more than 18,000 students enrolled in Polk County Public Schools who participate in ESE programs. These students include children with various disabilities and gifted learners.
