Time is running out to take the 2020 census.
The census will help shape the future of Polk County. Census data is used to distribute billions of dollars in federal funding, grants and support, including Title 1 grants, the National School Lunch Program, and numerous other programs that help our students and families lead healthier, happier lives.
In Polk County alone, each person counted generates approximately $1,400 in federal funding.
If you haven’t already done so, please take the census. The census is quick and easy, and your answers will be kept confidential.
