Bartow Middle and Westwood Middle can once again claim to have some of the “finest” FFA programs in our state.
The two schools have made this year’s list of “Florida’s Finest” FFA chapters, designated by the Florida FFA Association. The honor is given to schools that have “excelled in the areas of growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture and … worked hard to fulfill the mission and vision of the FFA.”
Only 29 chapters statewide earned the Florida’s Finest title this year. They will be recognized during the 93rd Florida FFA State Convention & Expo in Orlando this summer.
Bartow and Westwood both received the Florida’s Finest designation last year. In addition, Bartow Middle was one of five finalists named as a Middle School Model of Excellence by the National FFA Organization.
