Polk County Public Schools will showcase its vast array of educational programs and diverse centers of learning during its 10th annual WE3 Expo.
This free event is open to the public and provides an exciting look into the learning taking place within elementary, middle, high and adult schools throughout the county.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2 and Friday, Nov. 3; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 at The RP Funding Center, 701 W. Lime Street in Lakeland.
More than 10,000 students, parents and community members are expected to attend the expo, which offers a convenient one-stop location to explore Polk’s many educational opportunities.
Nearly 300 booths will highlight available schools, programs and careers centers. Featured programs include career academies, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, career and technical education, JROTC, and the fine arts, among others.
Biz Bash, an exclusive WE3 Expo networking event for the business community, will kick things off at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2. To attend, please RSVP online through the “Biz Bash” section at www.WE3Expo.com.

Meaning Behind WE3:
The “WE” stands for Workforce Education. Originally, the event would highlight programs that prepare students for employment in the local workforce. Over the past 10 years, the event has grown into a districtwide initiative showcasing all of the schools and programs in Polk County Public Schools.
The “3” represents three partners who contribute to the event: Polk County Public Schools, higher education and the business community.
