Come Meet the Team; PCPS Learning Support Division Hosting Five Town Hall Forums

The Learning Support Division of Polk County Public Schools is hosting a series of informational town halls in the coming weeks.

This is an opportunity for the public to meet members of this dynamic team and learn how they are responding to the behavioral, mental health and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) needs of Polk County’s youth. Visitors can also submit questions for a panel of experts.

The first town hall will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, at Roosevelt Academy, 115 E. Street in Lake Wales.

The first town hall will also be livestreamed on the district’s YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/polkcountypublicschools.

Four other town halls will be held in communities throughout the county. The complete schedule can be found below.

Before each town hall begins, an informal meet-and-greet will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The meet-and-greet is a chance to connect with members of the Learning Support Division and other agencies who work closely together to support students.
