Focused on Excellence: Dr. Nikeshia Leatherwood
Happy Friday, let's celebrate our next Focused on Excellence winner: Dr. Nikeshia Leatherwood from Citrus Ridge: A Civics Academy!
It’s now the fourth year of our Focused on Excellence campaign, which recognizes the hard work and contributions of PCPS employees.
Once again, employees were asked to nominate their colleagues from various departments for a chance to receive some great prizes and be recognized on our communication channels. This is the first group of winners for 2023-24.
Nikeshia is the principal at Citrus Ridge.
"What I love most about my role is the ability to create an atmosphere where students and staff want to be," she said. "I take honor and pride in showing up daily for my school community. I get to be the principal I wish I had growing up."
