You are invited to ESOL Parent Academy, a free event honoring Hispanic Heritage Month and organized by the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) department.
This event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Haines City High, 2800 Hornet Drive in Haines City. Parents can attend informational sessions on a variety of topics, including:
- Discover ESOL support and services available to students and their families
- Learn how to access your student’s grades online via the Parent Portal, and stay in touch with their teachers
- Obtain tips and guidance on how to better prepare students for testing
- Take part in multicultural activities; families are encouraged to display their heritage by wearing their cultural attire
