Administrators from Mulberry Middle and Roosevelt Academy spent the past semester in a new professional learning program offered by the Florida Department of Education.
Cynthia Cangelose and Sarah Miranda from Mulberry Middle, and Deborah Kindel and John Dooley from Roosevelt joined administrators throughout the state for the 2021 Community of Leaders Academy.
The program was designed for teams of principals from the same school to increase their ability to support “high-quality instruction” and teacher growth, which ultimately improve student outcomes.
The Leaders Academy took place in multiple sessions from January through early June, in partnership with the University of Washington’s Center for Educational Leadership and the North East Florida Educational Consortium.
