Paul Hughes has dedicated his life to providing quality theatre at an affordable price for arts patrons in Polk County. As artistic director of the Pied Piper Players community group, now known as Lakeland Community Theatre, Paul was a jack of all trades. His skills ran the gamut-acting, singing, directing, producing, designing and writing. In addition, his expertise included set, lighting and costume design. During Paul's leadership, the group grew from a small children's theatre to a wide-scale community theatre with five main stage productions, a separate children's theatre and numerous camps and classes throughout the year.
