Lt. General William H. Fitch flew F-4 Phantom Fighters and other jets as a Marine Corps pilot. He is credited on patents for the Multiple Carriage Bomb Rack, the Multiple Ejector Rack and the Triple Ejector Rack, all used in combat by most tactical jet aircraft.
