Dr. Peter Bennett, director of the Florida Museum of Natural History and zoology professor at the University of Florida. Bennett was also president of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia. Taught at Harvard University and University of Kentucky was chairman of the Department of Biological Sciences at Florida State University.
