Dr. Paul Sheffield, noted aerospace physiologist. In the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Sheffield taught aircrews the medical aspects of high altitude. Helped to create the first Air Force medicine center studying the breathing of oxygen at pressures greater than normal sea level pressure. Published more than 100 scientific papers related to his studies.
