Dr. John Allan Knight Sr., general superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene. President of both Mount Vernon Nazarene College and Bethany Nazarene College. Served two terms as chairman of the Oklahoma Independent College Foundation and chairman of the Board of Directors of the Washington, D.C.-based Christian College Coalition. Recipient of the Lily Foundation Theology Award at Vanderbilt University for two consecutive years.
