Happy Wednesday, it’s time for another Focused on Excellence. And the next winner is … Jennie Cyran from Davenport School of the Arts!
It’s now the fourth year of our Focused on Excellence campaign, which recognizes the hard work and contributions of PCPS employees.
Once again, employees were asked to nominate their colleagues from various departments for a chance to receive some great prizes and be recognized on our communication channels. This is the third group of winners for 2023-24.
Jennie teaches fourth-grade math and science at Davenport School of the Arts. If the name sounds familiar, it’s probably because she was the 2019 Polk County Teacher of the Year!
“I work with some of the most fabulous educators in the county. My colleagues and administrators are team players who treat me like family,” she said. “I love working with students, staff, and community members to build relationships that will impact our future world. I also love it when students come back later in life and tell me their success stories.”
