Don’t forget that the deadline for Controlled Open Enrollment (COE) applications is this Friday, April 26.
COE allows families to apply for any PCPS school (excluding magnet schools) that still has seats available for 2024-25. Please visit polkschoolsfl.com/transfer for more information.
PCPS expects to send out COE acceptances on Monday, May 6. We will also conduct another magnet school lottery drawing and send out notices on May 6, so families have the most school options while preparing for 2024-25.
If your application is chosen for either option, you should receive an email and Parent Portal notification by the end of May 6. Please read the email carefully and follow the instructions to either accept or decline your child’s invite.
After May 6, we will continue processing applications until available seats are filled for the 2024-25 school year. Remember that transportation is provided for magnet school students, but not for students who attend an out-of-zone school via COE.
