A new state law will affect school start times for PCPS and other Florida school districts.
The new law will require school districts, beginning in 2026-27, to start middle school classes after 8 a.m., and high school classes at 8:30 a.m. or later. The change will have a significant impact on our school system and community.
The PCPS District Advisory Council is organizing a series of town halls in March and April to answer questions and collect feedback.
