Instructional Materials Available for Public Review Until Jan. 30
The State of Florida is currently going through the adoption of science materials that can be used during the 2023-2024 school year. The State of Florida has approved K-12 social studies instructional materials that can be used for the 2024-25 school year. Polk County’s current contracts for both science and social studies instructional material end in June 2024.
Local review committees made up of Polk County teachers, administrators, parents and community members have submitted products to the Polk County School Board for approval; the materials will be available for public review and comments until Jan. 30.
