Congratulations to Shelby Montgomery for being named Arts Educator of the Year by the Polk Arts and Cultural Alliance!
Montgomery is the orchestra director for George Jenkins High and Lakeland Highlands Middle. She was honored by PACA during the organization's Hall of Fame Gala and Awards Ceremony last week.
Congratulations as well to Samuel Ortiz, guitar instructor at Harrison School for the Arts, who was a finalist for the Arts Educator of the Year award.
