Open Enrollment For PCPS Employee Benefits Starts Oct. 14

News Release Polk County Public Schools

This is an important reminder for employees of Polk County Public Schools about their benefits.

Open enrollment begins Saturday, Oct. 14.

Open enrollment is the one time each year that PCPS employees can change their benefit options without requiring a life event (such as marriage, adoption, birth of a child, etc.) or other qualifying events to have taken place.

PCPS employees will need to manage their benefits using our online system called Benefitplace powered by Benefitfocus.

Even if you do not plan to make changes to your benefits, we ask everyone to login into Benefitplace to verify your data and update your life insurance beneficiary information.

Please be advised that our vison plan does have new options, and we recommend reviewing them to make a selection that best fits you or your family’s needs.

The deadline to make changes is Oct. 28.

Please be advised that paper enrollment forms will not be accepted. You must use Benefitplace to make any changes.

You can access Benefitplace by visiting polkschoolsfl.com/benefitplace.

You can also get in-person assistance with Benefitplace during Health & Benefits Fairs. For a complete schedule, please visit polkschoolsfl.com/benefitplace.
