Tenoroc High Concludes First Year

Shared by Superintendent Heid on Twitter today:

“Great morning spending time with community leaders showcasing the 3DE program and students at Tenoroc High School. Listening to them share their stories about how the program has helped with attendance, engagement and academic performance was inspiring.”

Tenoroc just wrapped up its inaugural year as a 3DE school. The Junior Achievement initiative connects schools and business partners to provide students with real-world knowledge and experiences. As part of the program, Tenoroc students took part in case studies and developed solutions for use in various industries.

Ultimately, 3DE aims to strengthen students’ comprehension and critical thinking, leading to more opportunities in life after graduation.

Tenoroc is one of just 13 Florida schools to have the 3DE program. We owe a special thanks to Junior Achievement and all of the business and community partners who made this effort possible.

Also, thanks to Lakeland Leads for sponsoring today’s event and supporting Tenoroc 3DE.
