Clarence Alexander Boswell Sr., namesake for Boswell Elementary in Auburndale, is one of the most celebrated attorneys in Florida and Polk County history. His law career spanned more than 81 years and he was Florida's oldest-practicing lawyer at the time of his death in 2005 at the age of 102. His practice included civil law, estate planning, title work and real estate law.
