Dr. Kathryn'Kat' Quina taught psychology and women's studies at the University of Rhode Island. Coordinated the psychology program at the school and was one of 50 psychologists invited to participate in the American Psychological Association's 1991 conference on enhancing the quality of undergraduate education. Served on a Rhode Island governor's advisory commission studying women's issues and wrote numerous publications on women, gender and diversity.
