Ambrose 'Rowdy' Gaines IV, the world's fastest man in the water in the 1980s. Won three gold medals and set two world records at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. NCAA All-America swimmer and was the Southeastern Conference Athlete of the Year in 1981. Swimming commentator for NBC, CBS, TNT and ESPN and a national spokesperson for companies that included Speedo, Walt Disney World and HealthSouth. NBC's lead swimming analyst during their coverage of the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics.
