C. Fred Jones, elected to the Florida House of Representatives where he chaired the House Agriculture Committee, House Transportation Committee and the Community Affairs Committee. Recipient of the Ridge League of Cities Legislator of the Year Award and the Allen Morris Award for Most Effective in Committee of the House of Representatives. The Boy Scouts of America also presented him with a Distinguished Citizen Award.
