James Denmark received critical acclaim for his artwork and his work has been displayed in New York's Harlem Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has been recognized as one of New York's 100 black role models and was commissioned by the National Congressional Black Caucus as an Artist of Choice. His painting, "Sabrina," was purchased by Ophrah Winfrey.
