Colonel Freddie Austin, U.S. Army officer, professor of military science and Pentagon staff officer. Commander of the 2nd Battalion, 503 Airborne Infantry, 173rd Separate Airborne Brigade in Vietnam and was an advisor to a Republic of South Vietnam Popular Forces Unit. He was President of the Washington Park/Rochelle Alumni Association and was junior partner of the Lakeland Association of Investors.
