Frostproof Middle-Senior High Graduate,

Colonel William August Felt supervised chemical manufacturing plants and was involved in the transportation and shipment of chemicals during World War II. Later in his military career, during the 1950s and 1960s, he taught radiological, biological and chemical subjects to officers of the United States and many foreign countries. After retiring from the military, he returned to his hometown of Frostproof and taught chemistry, physics and biology at his alma mater Frostproof High.
