Joseph 'Joe' G. Tedder, CFC was elected as Tax Collector for Polk County, Florida in 1996 and was subsequently re-elected for the next four terms. Prior to his role as Tax Collector, Mr. Tedder served in the Florida Legislature as State Representative, House District No. 64 from 1992 to 1996. He holds a bachelor's in accounting from Florida Southern College and worked as an accountant for over 10 years.
